Guides Factory turns long guide videos into text you can follow while playing
A forty-minute build guide is the right format to watch once and the wrong one to follow with the game open. So we rebuild it as a page: the steps as a checklist that remembers what you have ticked, the numbers written out, and every claim linked back to the second of the video it came from.
The point is not to replace the video. A reader who needs to see something is handed back to the creator who filmed it, which is why every guide links out at the top and again at each step.
How a guide is made
Four rules, and all four are visible on the page rather than promised here.
One named source per guide
Every guide is adapted from a specific creator's video, credited at the top of the page and linked out to. Nothing here is assembled from anonymous scraped text, and no guide claims to be the origin of what it explains.
Claims link back to the second they came from
Steps carry a timestamp chip that opens the source video at the exact moment the claim is made. That is the part a reader can use to check us: if a number looks wrong, the footage it was read off is one tap away.
On-screen numbers are written down
Creators show stats, costs and designer screens far more often than they read them out. Those figures are transcribed from the footage into the text, which is most of why a written version is worth having at all.
Corrections are folded in and labelled
Where a video's comments correct or dispute it, the correction appears as a callout marked as community context rather than being silently merged into the creator's claims. Where sources disagree, the guide says so instead of picking one for you.
What a guide here will not do
- Fill a gap the video left. If a source covers aircraft designs and not division templates, the guide says that rather than sourcing the missing half from somewhere it does not credit.
- Pretend to be evergreen. Tier lists and meta snapshots are true on a date, and the pages that carry them say which patch or league they were built against.
- Quote a number it cannot show you. Where a figure is stated three different ways in one sentence of narration, the guide flags it as imprecise instead of picking the tidiest version.
